Underfoot Feel
The ZoomX foam in the Nike Alphafly 3 Running Shoes feels incredibly cushioned and bouncy underfoot. Fully-connected ZoomX foam offers comfort and smooth transitions for heel, mid, and forefoot strikes.
As you start to load the midsole, the full-length carbon fibre plate delivers a propulsive sensation that makes you feel as if you're being sprung forward.
This energetic experience is only made more prominent by the two forefoot Air Zoom Units that combine with the ZoomX foam to ensure you get as much back as you're putting in.
It's worth noting that the wider carbon-fibre plate offers more stability than before. The outsole promotes optimal traction and grip - which should result in a lot of confidence around corners.
Upper Fit
The Nike Alphafly 3 Running Shoes feature an updated Atomknit upper. The main benefit of this design is that it feels very soft and supportive. This minimises the chances of friction.
Whilst the sock-like fit holds your feet securely, the upper can stretch to accommodate foot swelling - which is a problem many of us experience in marathon racing.
Ideal Run Time
The Nike Men's Alphafly 3 Road Racing Shoes are one of the most comfortable and propulsive running shoes that have ever been made. As a result, they are very likely to significantly improve your running economy and help you run faster marathons.
It might be hard not to wear them all the time, but saving them for race day means you'll get the most out of them.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
