The standout technology in this GOREWEAR running jacket is the POLARTEC® ALPHA® insulating midlayer. Positioned in the front torso, upper back and shoulders, it insulates key areas. Unlike other insulating fabrics, such as down, POLARTEC® ALPHA® keeps you warm when wet. It's also highly breathable, so it regulates your body temperature.
This running jacket also has a GORE® WINDSTOPPER® liner. As this membrane is totally windproof, extremely breathable and durably water-resistant, the GOREWEAR Drive Jacket performs in a range of conditions.
As mentioned, this running jacket features lots of reflectivity. Reflective branding and tapes are very visible through the outer fabric when light hits them. The specific positioning of the reflective detail helps others identify you and recognise that you're moving.
Fit Guide
The GOREWEAR Men's Drive Jacket has a slim fit. It's designed to follow the shape of your body, without feeling overly tight. As a result, we recommend choosing your normal clothing size.
Given the thermal qualities of the fabric, you shouldn't need to wear multiple layers underneath - even in very cold conditions. We recommend wearing a long sleeved base layer or mid-layer to improve sweat evaporation.
