Saucony Ride

Founded in 1898, Saucony are the World’s oldest running shoe brand, and for many years the Ride has been at the forefront of their offering to neutral runners. Taking over the mantle of the legendary Jazz series, the Ride has long been one of the most popular shoes in the market. The shoe has developed alongside and now shares many design philosophies with the Guide and has been a great counterpart to its renowned stability partner. The Ride has undergone many significant changes through the years but perhaps found itself becoming a little bit firm underfoot, and somewhat removed from the type of softer feel more and more runners were looking for. So with the launch of the Ride 15 in early 2022, Saucony delivered a much softer and smoother feel with a higher stack height than before. The Ride 16 and Ride 17 have retained some of these design features and built upon them! The Ride 17 features PWRRUN+ cushioning, which offers more energy return than previously used PWRRUN. It should also offer greater levels of durability. Comfort underfoot is matched with an encapsulating engineered mesh upper.
