Advice for Road and Trail Runners: Keep running through winter with the True Motion Men's U-Tech Nevos Elements Running Shoes. The Nevos Elements provide extra grip and a water-repellent upper, combined with the injury reduction potential of True Motion's U-TECH™ technology. 

Underfoot Feel

The outsole features non-slip MotionGrip technology. The benefit of this technology is enhanced traction on wet road surfaces. The outsole's tread pattern and lug depth is more aggressive than you would find on traditional road running shoes. This means that it will provide grip on the likes of wet grass and muddy ground - although we do not position the Nevos Elements as pure trail running shoes.

In comparison to the original Nevos Elements, there is 30% more U-TECH™ foam in the rearfoot and forefoot sections of the outsole. This provides significant levels of cushioning and underfoot comfort.

The most important thing to remember is that the Nevos Elements are True Motion running shoes. The U-TECH™ technology is specifically designed to reduce the risk of running-related injuries in the knee and Achilles tendon. It does this by reducing harmful rotational forces on the foot, ankle, and knee.

Upper Fit

It's not just the outsole that is optimised for winter running conditions. The upper has a two-layer Jacquard mesh which provides a secure fit, weather protection and warmth. Durable water repellent (DWR)-treated mesh helps to keep water out. TPU film overlays at the rearfoot also help to keep your feet dry.

A loop at the heel helps to make it easy to put these running shoes on.

We should point out that these are not waterproof running shoes. However, they will cope well with a lot of bad weather. Providing a balance between weather protection and breathability.

Ideal Run Type

The True Motion Men's U-Tech Nevos Elements Running Shoes are best for training runs in bad weather conditions when it may be more slippy than usual underfoot. They can be used for almost all distances, and will be best for runs at low to moderate speeds. True Motion running shoes are not designed to be categorised as neutral or stability running shoes in the traditional sense. U-TECH™ technology is designed to be suitable for a wide range of runners.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
