Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Women's Guide 18 Running Shoes are designed to offer more support than neutral running shoes. The soft and forgiving midsole should feel most comfortable for everyday runs.
The Saucony Guide 18 Running Shoes should feel supportive and stable underfoot. This is because the midsole has the following attributes:
This system - named Center Path technology - should provide guidance and support, helping you to move naturally through your gait cycle.
From a cushioning perspective, the Saucony PWRRUN midsole - an EVA-based cushioning - should provide a lot of plush and durable cushioning along with some energy return. The underfoot comfort doesn't stem purely from the midsole material. A Saucony PWRUN+ Sockliner also helps to enhance comfort.
Wearers of the Saucony Guide 17 Running Shoes should be able to transition into the Saucony Guide 18 Running Shoes with relative ease.
The updated upper features a streamlined engineered mesh, additional foam inside the heel, and more structure in the midfoot area.
We recommend using the Saucony Women's Guide 18 Running Shoes for slower paced runs. The significant amount of cushioning means this model should perform well over longer distances.
The additional support will suit runners who require extra guidance for their feet and ankles.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
