Advice for Trail Runners: The Salomon Women's Genesis Running Shoes are designed to provide support and cushioning for runs on challenging, rocky terrain.
The combination of Salomon's Energy Foam and the dynamic support of the Active Chassis results in protection and support for your feet. There is a moderate amount of underfoot cushioning, meaning that it is unlikely that the midsole will feel too bulky or too minimal.
A two-part lug pattern should help you to ascend and descend with confidence. Salomon's All-Terrain Contagrip® compound should also help to provide traction on rocky ground.
These Salomon trail running shoes have a standard fit.
It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design of the upper. The weaved Matryx® upper is skree-resistant, and designed to provide long-term durability and breathability.
The Salomon Women's Genesis Running Shoes are best for trail runs on rocky terrain, including steep inclines and declines. They are likely to be ideally suited to runners seeking cushioning and some extra support for runs on challenging, rocky terrain.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
