Advice for Road Runners: The Salomon Women's Aero Glide 2 Running Shoes are neutral road running shoes. Designed to provide plush cushioning for daily training runs.
These Salomon road running shoes have a midsole with a relatively high stack height. The midsole contains Salomon's ultra-plush EnergyFOAM, which provides a significant amount of underfoot cushioning. However, the midsole is still capable of providing some responsive energy return.
Salomon's R.Camber rocker geometry is designed to help you to move efficiently through your gait cycle.
The upper provides a plush fit - complimenting the plush cushioning provided by the midsole. The soft padded tongue and collar area are designed to be very comfortable.
The Salomon Women's Aero Glide 2 Running Shoes are best suited to daily training runs at slow to steady paces.
The rocker geometry may make these a good choice on days when your feet and legs are a bit tired from a previous run. Meaning that they could be a great choice for recovery runs the day after the likes of an interval session.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
