Underfoot Feel
A thick layer of energyFOAM cushioning should feel soft and plush under your feet. However, the geometry of the midsole also improves comfort.
The unique, wavy geometry - named Relive Sphere - helps reduce underfoot pressure and discomfort caused by repetitive foot strikes. This technology is particularly beneficial for long-distance runs.
You might notice the Salomon branding on the side of the Ultra Glide 3 Running Shoes' midsole. This raised section of foam is likely to offer some extra support on uneven terrain.
An All Terrain Contagrip® outsole, with 4 mm lugs, offers great traction on wide variety of surfaces.
Upper Fit
The upper of the Salomon Ultra Glide 3 Running Shoes should feel light, breathable, and supportive.
Salomon's EndoFit™ technology - an internal fit sleeve - offers a secure fit around the midfoot.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
