Underfoot Feel
The shoe features a high rebound midsole made from EnergyCell™+ which provides superb cushioning and durability. Featuring aggressive, widely-spaced lugs on the redesigned Mud Contagrip® Outsole, the grip is fantastic on both uphills and downhills, with enhanced traction in wet conditions.
Upper Fit
The SensiFit™ upper now accommodates a broader range of foot shapes, is more flexible and cradles the foot to ensure a secure, snug and precise fit. Constructed using a tight mesh and abrasion-resistant ripstop fabric, the upper protects against debris entering the shoe, while the Quicklace™ lacing system ensures the shoe can be put on and taken off quickly.
Ideal Run Type
The Salomon Men's Speedcross 6 Running Shoes are a highly protective, cushioned and grippy shoe, ideal for a variety of rough terrain and conditions. This is an extremely versatile shoe.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
