Why we stock the Tech GORE-TEX® Mercurial Jacket
There certain runs - particularly those on trails and in the mountains - that definitely require a waterproof running jacket. While a waterproof jacket may be mandatory kit in hill and mountain races, it is much more than that. Having protection from the wind and rain may make a run enjoyable and manageable when it otherwise wouldn't be.
The Mercurial Jacket uses GORE-TEX® active fabric as it is very well suited to high-intensity aerobic activities.
The main features and benefits of GORE-TEX® active fabric are that it is:
- Highly breathable - allowing sweat vapour to escape;
- Lightweight - which is what you need in a running jacket;

The Mercurial Jacket has a relaxed fit. We recommend choosing your normal size. There should be plenty of room for a base or mid-layer underneath.
