Underfoot Feel
Starting with the midsole, the MICHELIN super-critical foam should improve your efficiency. This is because it offers lots of energy return. The race-specific rocker geometry also aids propulsion.
Designed to feel fast and agile, the midsole is relatively narrow at the heel and midfoot area. This also reduces the weight of the sole unit.
While 4 mm lugs won't offer pinnacle traction on highly-technical trails, they will deliver lots of grip on a wide variety of terrain. This makes the Ronhill Freedom Ultra Running Shoes suitable for a number of trail surfaces.
The OC1 MICHELINE outsole is exceptionally robust and durable. This means you can run on hard-packed ground in confidence.
Upper Fit
One of stand-out features in the Ronhill Freedom Ultra Running Shoes is the MATRYX® EVO upper. The Kevlar reinforced mid and forefoot provide amazing durability and lockdown.
Importantly, the zonal one-piece upper is designed to perform in wet conditions. The knitted one-piece tongue/collar construction also reduces the chances of debris entering the shoe.
Finally, Ronhill's True-Fit last helps your feet splay naturally.
Ideal Run Type

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
