Underfoot Feel
As the midsole of the On Clougo features Helion superfoam, it feels very protective underfoot. Perfect for running on hard ground. We mentioned the Cloudgo propels you along. Well that's because the midsole features a TPU Speedboard. This enhances energy return and aids forward momentum.
Even though you'll feel the Speedboard, it's embedded in the midsole. This ensures the main sensation is soft and comfortable cushioning. Additionally, the CloudTec Elements are connected and the midsole features a rocker. This makes the transition from landing to toe-off very smooth.
Upper Fit
An engineered polyester mesh upper features around 85-90% recycled materials. Minimal no-sew overlays keep weight to a minimum. Although, strategically placed areas of padding improve comfort levels.
Ideal Run Type
As the On Women's Cloudgo running shoes feel soft, yet propulsive, they're well suited to a range of paces. By this, we mean they should perform on both slower and steadier paced runs. If you're heading out for an easy effort run, the Cloudgo should feel soft and protective. However, if you decide to go a bit faster, the Speedboard should propel you forward.
It's hard to make running shoes that work for everything. While the Cloudgo won't feel amazing for faster paced running, it's one of the most versatile daily running shoes that On offer.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
