The Nike Vomero 18 Running Shoes have a dual-density midsole - with a layer of ZoomX foam stacked on top of ReactX foam.
The top layer of ZoomX foam should feel soft and bouncy.
In contrast, the bottom layer of ReactX foam improves the inherent stability of the midsole. This is because it's slightly firmer than ZoomX foam.
Made with a high stack, the midsole should feel very protective.
Finally, the midsole geometry helps smooth out transitions from landing to take-off.
