Underfoot Feel
The midsole consists of Nike's ReactX foam. This responsive material provides a lot of cushioning, but it does not feel overly soft underfoot. However, the midsole should feel like a very stable base from which to land on and push off from.
With the rocker-shaped midsole, you should be able to transition through the gait cycle with greater ease and efficiency.
The Waffle outsole provides durable traction for the roads.
Upper Fit
The upper is soft and supportive. The fit is sock-like, and the material sits snugly against your feet. Nike acknowledged that these have a snug fit. We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes.
The Nike InfinityRN 4 offers a wider toe box so that your feet can splay naturally. We should point out that part of the toe box has a water-repellent liner - helping to keep your feet drier in wet weather.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Women's InfinityRN 4 Road Running Shoes are best for runners seeking cushioning and stability for everyday runs. By 'everyday runs' we mean runs at lower intensities. The amount of cushioning in the midsole should make the InfinityRN 4 very comfortable for long-distance training runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
