Underfoot Feel
Your feet should feel very protected in the Nike InfinityRN 4 Road Running Shoes. This is because the midsole features a thick layer of ReactX foam. Whilst the foam doesn't feel overly soft, it offers good levels of energy return. This should help you to maintain your pace throughout your run.
On a similar note, the curved heel-to-toe design is likely to roll your feet forward and smooth out transitions.
The red coloured part of the midsole highlights the tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning. The purpose of this is simple: to increase the sensation of support at your feet and ankles.
Upper Fit
In case you're worried about getting the white upper wet in the rain, you might like to know that part of the toe box features a water-repellent liner.
As the Nike InfinityRN 4 utilises a Flyknit upper, it should feel supportive and secure. A Flyknit band in the midfoot also aids support.
Whilst they offer an accommodating fit in the toe box, Nike acknowledged that these have a snug fit. We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes.
Ideal Run Type

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
