The Volt/Barely Volt-Black colourway is one of the brightest and boldest we've seen in this style. It should brighten up any run at any time of year.
Underfoot Feel
The midsole consists of Nike's ReactX foam. This responsive foam provides a lot of cushioning, but does not feel overly soft underfoot.
You should expect the midsole to feel like a very stable base from which to land and push off from. The rocker-shaped platform should help you to transition through the gait cycle with greater ease and efficiency.
The Waffle outsole provides traction on the roads.
Upper Fit
The upper material is soft and supportive, and has a sock-like fit. Nike acknowledged that these have a snug fit. We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes.
The Nike InfinityRN 4 offers a wider toe box so that your feet can splay naturally. We should point out that part of the toe box has a water-repellent liner - helping to keep your feet drier in wet weather.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men's InfinityRN 4 Road Running Shoes are a good option for runners seeking cushioning and stability for everyday runs. By 'everyday runs' we mean runs at lower intensities. As there is a lot of cushioning in the midsole, the InfinityRN 4 should feel comfortable on long-distance runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
