Advice for Road Runners: Softer isn't always better. The Mizuno Women's Wave Inspire 20 Running Shoes feature responsive cushioning that should help you maintain your pace.
Firstly, the Mizuno Wave Inspire 20 Running Shoes should feel really protective underfoot. This is because they feature a relatively thick layer of plush Mizuno Enerzy cushioning.
The responsive nature of the midsole is a result of the anatomically shaped Wave Plate. Mizuno's signature technology improves energy return and propulsion. This should make it easier to sustain steadier efforts.
The Wave Plate also enhances the stability of the midsole. To explain further, the specific shaping of the Wave Plate can stop the foot arch from collapsing. This in turn helps reduce excess pronation.
Runners typically find the Mizuno Wave Inspire 20 Running Shoes fit spaciously in the toe box. The premium air mesh jacquard upper should feel very breathable.
Some running shoes respond better to changes of pace than others. The Mizuno Women's Wave Inspire 20 Running Shoes are one of these. This means they should feel comfortable for both slow and steady paced runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
