As lightweight, waterproof running mittens, they are designed to be worn on their own, or over your normal running gloves for extra warmth and weather protection.
The main protection from rain and snow comes from the waterproof inner. However, there is also a durable water repellent PFC-free coating to help keep your hands dry.
