Underfoot Feel
8 mm talon-like studs offer maximum grip on loose, muddy, and unpredictable terrain. A unique goat's hoof design means that the studs shed mud quickly - ensuring your grip is maintained.
When you have to negotiate wet rock, INOV8's STICKYGRIP rubber helps improve traction.
The bouncy POWERFLOW PRO midsole in the INOV8 Men's Mudtalon offers a lot of protection. Extra comfort is also offered by an absorbent BOOMERANG Footbed. Finally, a rock-plate reduces the impact of sharp objects, such as stones.
Upper Fit
This is the Precision fit version of the INOV8 Men's Mudtalon upper. The secure fit should lead to better confidence and improved agility on steep terrain and cambers.
With durability in mind, a tough ballistic nylon should be very resistant to signs of abrasion and snags. The gusseted tongue helps prevent debris entering the shoes, and the toe guard protects the end of your feet.
Ideal Run Type
It's simple, if you're running over steep and/or very muddy terrain, the INOV8 Men's Mudtalon should be one of the best options. This is because they offer amazing levels of grip and traction. We expect they'll work particularly well for trail runners who are trying to descend as quickly and confidently as possible.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
