Advice for Road Runners: The HOKA Men's Bondi 8 are max-cushioned neutral road running shoes. This means they offer lots of underfoot protection and comfort.
The thick layer of cushioning in the HOKA Bondi 8 Running Shoes feels very protective. As you strike the ground, you should enjoy the forward rolling effect of HOKA's MetaRocker™ technology.
Even though the Bondi are neutral running shoes, they should feel very stable. This is a result of two key attributes. Firstly, the midsole base is very broad - making it inherently stable. Next, the midsole walls rise up around your feet. This midsole shaping - named Active Foot Frame™ - should improve support.
In line with the midsole design, the upper of HOKA Bondi 8 offers a lot of comfort. The premium fabrics should feel soft and luxurious.
It's worth noting that the Bondi are built on a wider last than the HOKA Clifton Running Shoes. As a result, the Bondi should offer more space in the toe box.
The HOKA Men's Bondi 8 Running Shoes are best suited to slower paced runs. This means they're an excellent choice for recovery runs that follow more intense training workouts. Naturally, the high level of cushioning also means they should feel very comfortable for longer distance runs.
As these feature a high level of outsole rubber, they're likely to offer more durability than the HOKA Clifton Running Shoes.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
