The DNA LOFT v3 cushioning in the Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoes offers a balanced underfoot feel. By this, we mean the cushioning doesn't feel ultra soft, but it feels very protective.
One of the main benefits of the nitrogen-infused foam is the energy return on offer. The responsive foam should help you maintain your pace.
Even though the Ghost 16 are neutral running shoes, the midsole should feel very stable.
A high degree of outsole coverage offers lots of durability.
The Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoes are very popular because the upper fits a broad range of foot shapes.
An engineered air mesh upper should feel soft and comfortable.
There are no doubts about what the Brooks Women's Ghost 16 Running Shoes are best suited to: slower paced runs. Yes, the cushioning is responsive enough for some steadier efforts. However, the cushioning is likely to feel most comfortable when your goal is to take it easy.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
Take your Brooks gear for a 90-day trial run. Put it through its paces and sweat in it as much as you want. If you are not 100% satisfied, return it to us for free.
