The Glycerin 21's midsole is made of Brooks' DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. This nitrogen-infused material produces a lot of cushioning for your feet.
The midsole feels soft under your feet. However, it does not feel excessively soft. While these are neutral running shoes, the midsole's structure provides noticeable support for your feet. The broad midsole and outsole provide a stable platform from which to land and push off from.
If you wore the Glycerin 20, please note that the Glycerin 21 has an additional 2mm of DNA LOFT v3 midsole foam.
The new RoadTack rubber results in a lightweight and durable outsole material.
A new, engineered warp knit upper is breathable and provides structure in vital areas across the foot.
The Brooks Men's Glycerin 21 Road Running Shoes are best for slow to steady paced training runs on the road. These neutral running shoes are designed to deliver significant comfort as you log your training miles.
Take your Brooks gear for a 90-day trial run. Put it through its paces and sweat in it as much as you want. If you are not 100% satisfied, return it to us for free.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
