Advice for Road Runners: The ASICS Women's Gel-Cumulus 27 Running Shoes are designed for everyday miles at slow to steady paces.
The midsole foam in the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 27 Running Shoes is FF BLAST™ PLUS foam. This soft and protective foam works in synergy with the FluidRide™ outsole to improve comfort. You should expect smooth transitions from landing to take-off.
Heel strikers will benefit from PureGEL™ technology. ASICS' signature technology - positioned in the heel area - improves softness and shock absorption.
Made with a premium engineered mesh, the upper should feel supportive and breathable. A lightweight, padded tongue should also help reduce lace pressure.
Interestingly, the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 27 Running Shoes' upper now has a heel tab. This design feature was originally seen on the Gel-Nimbus Running Shoes.
As mentioned, the ASICS Women's Gel-Cumulus 27 Running Shoes are a great choice for everyday runs. This is because the midsole is built for comfort.
Having said that, if you're training for long-distance events, you might want to consider a more cushioned model - such as the Gel-Nimbus Running Shoes.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
