Advice for Road Runners: The Altra Men's Experience Form Running Shoes are the stability option in their Experience line up. With the Experience Flow being the neutral counterpart.

Underfoot Feel

With a lightweight compression moulded EVA foam midsole, the Altra Experience Form should deliver a responsive underfoot sensation. 

As you land, you should experience an efficient and propulsive transition through to toe-off.  This is down to the responsive foam working in synergy with the curved heel to toe geometry.

The Altra Experience Form should feel very stable and supportive underfoot. A dynamic GuideRail support system offers extra support as and when your feet need it. The darker blue section - on the image of the medial side of the shoe - highlights the additional support. 

It's worth noting that these have a slightly wider base than the Experience Flow Neutral Running Shoes, which also makes them more stable.

Upper Fit

The lightweight upper features Altra's signature Standard FootShape Fit. This means the Experience Form should feel very spacious in the forefoot area. Most runners should find this allows their feet to splay more naturally.

Ideal Run Type

As the Altra Men's Experience Form Running Shoes feature a responsive midsole, they should feel best for steadier paced runs. This is because they're likely to help you maintain your pace with less effort. 

Whilst some runners may find these comfortable for slower paced days, we would normally recommend a softer option for that purpose.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
