Designed to offer a great combination of traction and responsive cushioning. The upper is made of at least 50% recycled content.
The Solarglide 6 offers responsive cushioning. By that we mean that the midsole feels protective underfoot, but not overly soft. The BOOST material in the midsole creates an energetic underfoot feel. LEP 2.0 (Linear Energy Push) encourages a propulsive toe-off at the end of the gait cycle.
Continental™ rubber offers a substantial amount of traction, even on wet concrete.
The upper feels plush, but also offers some support due to its structure. We expect the upper to accommodate a wide range of foot shapes. Something which is very important in a daily training shoe.
The adidas Women's Solarglide 6 Running Shoes are very well suited to daily training miles. In other words, if you are a runner looking for neutral running shoes, these shoes should be used for the majority of your training.
You should not expect very soft cushioning from these adidas running shoes. The cushioning can feel firm and have a noticeable level of spring or energy return. They do offer a substantial amount of cushioning.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
