Underfoot Feel
Whilst the adidas Takumi Sen 10 midsole should feel very protective, the main sensation should be responsiveness.
This is because they feature the ENERGYRODS 2.0 system and two layers of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam. The updated ENERGYRODS system improves stiffness and should result in very snappy transitions.
It's likely the Takumi Sen 10 will feel stable around corners and will be very reactive to injections of pace. This is a result of a lower stack height in comparison to the Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes.
A combination of Continental™ rubber and light textile rubber promotes extra grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Upper Fit
The slick looking upper offers enhanced lockdown and supportive stitching in the areas it's needed most. As the adidas Takumi Sen 10 feature adidas' slinglaunch heel design, your ankles should feel locked in.
Ideal Run Type
Changing your pace suddenly and altering your course of travel with ease requires running shoes with a specific set of attributes. We believe the adidas Men's Takumi Sen 10 Running Shoes have the necessary qualities.
We recommend opting for the Takumi Sen 10 when you're aiming for maximum pace in 5K and 10K races. However, given the level of protection on offer, some runners are likely to find these perform very well in half marathons too.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
