Welcome to Run4It Bridge of Allan


Inspiring people to improve their fitness, health and wellbeing through running.


Opened in 2012 in the former home of The Running Company, our specialist running shop on Henderson Street has been helping runners of all levels find the right gear for over a decade. In-store you'll find a diverse range of running shoes, clothing and accessories from the industry's leading brands, backed by the expert advice and exceptional customer service we're proud to offer as an independent running retailer.


Whether you're taking on your first 5K, training for a marathon, or simply looking for comfortable walking shoes, our team is here to help you find the perfect fit.

Our free +runlab service uses treadmill video gait analysis to help match you with the right running shoes for your stride, goals and preferences. To save you waiting, we recommend booking an appointment online before you visit at run4it.com/book.

Run4It Bridge of Allan RunClub

Join our free weekly RunClub every Wednesday at 5:30pm, starting and finishing at the Stirling University Athletics track. These free, structured sessions are a great way to train consistently, meet other local runners, and keep progressing week to week.

Meet the Team

Grant Groat
Shop Manager

Grant is the newest member of the Bridge of Allan and joins as Shop Manager. With experience having run numerous half and full marathons in the past and has his sights set on many more. Grant is currently experimenting  in the world of Hyrox and functional fitness.

Laura McQuaid
Assistant Manager

A working mum, running gives Laura the time to switch off while building fitness as well as setting a great example for her son. Laura enjoys parkruns and running 10k races. She enjoys short, faster runs but has completed a few half marathons. A member of a local running group in Falkirk, she uses this to help develop her running skills as well as building friendships with fellow runners.

Keith Taylor
Team Member

Keith is relatively new to running having started during the first lockdown in 2020. He has been building up speed and distance and has recently completed his first half marathon. Keith is looking to run more half-marathons and take to the trails.

Leanne Stokes
Team Member

Leanne recently joined the team in January 2025 and brings a varied fitness background. She’s explored many forms of training over the years, including CrossFit and half marathons, and, most recently, her first Ironman 70.3 in Weymouth in 2024. Now, she’s gearing up for the Paris Marathon while continuing to enjoy a mix of running and hybrid training, with plans to take on a Hyrox competition later on in 2025. She loves taking on new challenges and finds training with others a great way to stay motivated and have fun. Leanne is always ready for a new challenge and enjoys keeping things fresh and exciting!

Will joined the Bridge of Allan team in July 2024. With experience in running and middle-distance triathlon. Will's training is now focussed on Hyrox which has combined his passion for both strength and endurance.

Team Member

Cammi has a keen interest in sport and currently trains and plays with a local football club in Stirling. He has a vast knowledge of music which he enjoys listening to. He is about to complete his final year at school and is undecided on what his career path will be.

Join us every Wednesday evening at 5:30pm, taking place at the Stirling University Athletics Track. 

  • What to expect

Our sessions follow structured training cycles around major marathon periods (Jan–May & Jun–Oct), with interval-based workouts, clear progression, and planned load/de-load weeks.

The runs are also suitable for people who are not preparing for an event. The structure of the runs is tailored to help a wide range of abilities, and those who are simply trying to improve their fitness.

  • Who it’s for

Everyone! If you want to take the guesswork out of training and run at the right pace/effort, this is for you. Our Run Club Leaders will guide you through each session, whatever your goal or experience level. 

Don't worry about being left behind. The route will be matched to the run, so that we start together and finish together.

  • When can I join?

Anytime. There’s no commitment to attend a specific period or number of sessions – join whenever it suits you. Jump in at any stage of the cycle; even occasional attendance brings real benefits.

  • How can I join?

Turn up and run: Simply come along — no booking required.

First-time running with us: Complete a waiver form before your first session. Form available via Facebook and Strava event descriptions.

We are closely affilated with 'Central' (we actually sell their club kit in the shop) and some of our team are members. It is a vibrant and friendly club with a whole mix of levels, abilities and age-groups.

Based in the Strathearn valley at Crieff we have helped and supported the 'Harriers' for a number of years. The club organise a good number of events such as the Crieff 10K in July each year. The club cater to a wide range of running abilities.

Dunblane Runners are a small and friendly running club with the aim of bringing runners of all abilities together. They run three times a week - on Mondays and Thursdays at 6.30pm and Saturday at 8.30am. More details can be found on their website.

Wee County Harriers are based in Clackmannanshire and have been running since 1999, boasting around 200 members of all abilities and ages ranging from 8 year olds to seventy somethings. We are happy to regularly serve customers from the Wee County Harriers and help them with their running needs and goals. Wee County Harriers also organise running events throughout the year such as Gartmorn 6 and The Cambus Quarter.

The Ochil Hill Runners are one of the most established on the Scottish hill running scene organising a number of events each year. Their training grounds are on our doorstep in the hills at the back of the shop.

We are working alongside the Tri club on a number of events in both tri and duathlon. Stirling Tri is one of the biggest in Scotland with a huge array of training nights across all three disciplines summer and winter.

Five Star Run Club offers a fun and friendly range of run classes and run coaching in Auchterarder and surrounding areas. They also host the annual Auchterarder Running Festival which includes a half-marathon and the 10K Chilli Trail Race. Fiona has been an ambassador for our shop for years, recommending our services to Five Star Run Club members.
