Aside from family and friends, running is the love of Diane's life. She has completed several 10k races, half-marathons, marathons, and recently took on her first ultramarathon and has plans to run more. Diane's favourite place to run is the Ochil Hills.
A working mum, running gives Laura the time to switch off while building fitness as well as setting a great example for her son. Laura enjoys parkruns and running 10k races. She enjoys short, faster runs but has completed a few half marathons. A member of a local running group in Falkirk, she uses this to help develop her running skills as well as building friendships with fellow runners.
Robert competed at an elite level for Central AC and Thames Valley. He trained and competed on the trails and hills of Scotland and around the world. As our longest serving member of staff, Robert has years of experience and can offer advice on any running discipline as well as his latest passion Hyrox.
Lara is a second year PE student at the University of Stirling and took up running as a (temporary!) way to keep fit after an injury. 8 years later and she’s still at it, running for fitness and enjoyment, and has just started training with the university endurance team.
Keith is relatively new to running having started during the first lockdown in 2020. He has been building up speed and distance and has recently completed his first half marathon. Keith is looking to run more half-marathons and take to the trails.
Tom Grant joined our Bridge of Allan team in September 2023, he has a keen interest in sport, fitness and running. He has run regularly since his teens, usually 5 or 10Ks but he’s recently ventured into longer runs and ran his first marathon, and he’s hoping to run more marathons in the near future. When he’s not running he likes to play or watch football.

Hosted annually in early May, the Dumyat Hill Race is the University of Stirling's flagship running event, and a popular fixture on the Scottish hill running calendar.
We are often told that the difference between us and other shops is our people. We think they are just the best. Each team member goes through a period of induction, training and assessment no matter what the job is. Over the years we have invested a load not just in the training but also in ensuring that we are giving the team the very best possible terms and conditions we can – it’s even written down in our business values.
